The Deele - Two Occasions

Don't it make you wonder who designs those dance moves? Those moves are so... amateurish, stiff, and awkward, don't you agree? I admitted I had a good laugh watching the video at first. Sorry, no offense to The Deele fans out there. Well, I am not trying to make fun of the video as it is probably a cool video to watch back in the 80's. The point is the song is just... well, so my kind of song! One of the songs that I like so much from the first time hearing it up to this very day.

Faye Wong did a cover for this song but I like this one way better. Babyface was so young back then and he was like tying to look cool and act 'older' in the video. The hair style is just so 80's. Ha!

TWO OCCASIONS
written by Babyface, Dee Bristol, Sid Johnson (1987)
performed by The Deele

A summer love is beautiful
But it's not enough
To satisfy emotions
That are shared between us
A winter love is cozy
But I need so much more
It just intensifies my wants
To have a love that endures

'Cause every time I close my eyes
I think of you
And no matter what the season is
I still love you
With all my heart
And I wanna be with you
Wherever you are

I only think of you on two occasions
That's day and night
I'd go for broke if I could be with you
Only you can make it right

An autumn love is special
At this time of the year
But when the leaves are gone
Does that love disappear
I never underestimate the new love of spring
But I'm glad to say in my heart
I know my love's lasting

'Cause every time I close my eyes
I think of you
And no matter what the season is
I still love you
With all my heart
And I wanna be with you
Wherever you are

I Am Good Looking And I Am A Disbarred Lawyer

Can anyone tell me is this news worth publishing at all... or worth mentioning at all... or most importantly, worth your time reading it? The truth is I clicked and read out of curiosity and now feel so pathetic to whoever worked on this piece of worthless news which reflects bad journalism, biased reporting, and short-sightedness.

What the hack if he is better looking? The fact that he has tainted record which reflects his personality and integrity when he was practicing as a lawyer was not mentioned at all in the news. He could have the kind of beauty that rival Brad Pit and be the most celebrated face in the world but does he has what it takes to be a good politician? A disbarred lawyer to contest inPematang Pasir. I would say BN has succcch a biiiig poooool offfff quaaaaalitttty cannnndidaaaaate! I am sooooooo impressssssed!
(Yes, I am being sarcastic to BN here in case you don't know)

Fair news reporting is a dead thing in The Star. That's why I have been boycotting the newspaper.

Bagan Lalang

Okay. Quick post this one.

One of the weekends in June 2009, I happened to be at Bagan Lalang for a half day trip. Yeah, the beach at Bagan Lalang isn't as smooth, beautiful, and pretty as those in East Coast but it is the closest to the concrete Jungle and if you are not in a mood to drive long distance, this would be it or your house bath tub.

It took about one and a half hours to reach there by car and I should not have gone on a Public Holiday because the crowd was annoyingly huge. The jam along the beach was terrible (You know Malaysian way of parking. Huh, unbelievable!). The beach was dirtied with rubbishes and all that. There should be more rubbish bins provided along the beach.

Well, anyway I wasn't disappointed. Because did not expect it to be perfect. Here some photos along the beach.

Try to avoid visiting Bagan Lalang on Public Holiday. The photo I shot above did not show the crowd because I did not want to include them.

Anyway, the seafood is nice though.

The photos above were taken at the Floating Restaurant HM Sri Bagan Lalang which is located near the fish market. Anyway, the website of the restaurant is now dead. So I can't link it here. It is not too far from the beach so you would not miss it.

The thing about this restaurant is that it has a nice viewing point that gives you sunset and the fishing boats view. So be there early or the best tables with best views will be taken.

Don't you just like the sunset! Imagine watching the descending sun while having your dinner.

So for the dinner, we ordered clams, crabs, squids, and prawns. All cooked fresh and yummy.

So when you are at Bagan Lalang, try it out.
